The Black Holocaust (Maafa)
Maafa, or alternatively African Holocaust or Holocaust of Enslavement, are terms used to collectively describe the history, effects and legacy of various atrocities on African people as a collective. Maafa (Swahili term) - “disaster, terrible occurrence or great tragedy.”
